Associations 

The Florida League of Cities provides contractual support services to several municipal and professional associations. This includes conference and meeting planning, membership databases, newsletters and other publications, records management, and general and financial administration.

Currently, the League provides support services to the partner associations listed below.

Florida Association of City Clerks

The business and objectives of the Florida Association of City Clerks (FACC) is to increase the efficiency of city clerks' functions, to cooperate with and assist all city administrators to strive for greater educational standards for city clerks, to gather and disseminate information to improve procedures and the efficiency of the administration of municipal government, and to discuss problems of mutual concerns.

Florida City and County Management Association
Casey Cook, Executive Director
The Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA) is a professional organization of practicing public administrators from throughout Florida local governments. The association was chartered in 1946 as a non-profit corporation to elevate professionalism among the state's cities and counties, and to promote the council-manager form of government as the form that advances the highest ethical and professional standards.

Florida Government Finance Officers Association
Jeannie Garner, Executive Director
The Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA), founded in 1937, is a professional association and has a membership of approximately 2,400 individuals from state and local governments, school boards, colleges, universities, special districts and other public agencies and representatives from private companies providing financial services to public agencies. FGFOA sponsors a voluntary professional certification program for designation as a Certified Government Finance Officer.

Florida League of Mayors
Scott Dudley, Executive Director
The Florida League of Mayors (FLM) is the official nonpartisan organization of mayors in the State of Florida. Created in November 2005 during an Orlando meeting of members of the Florida League of Cities, FLM is a comprehensive association for all mayors. The primary goal of FLM is to provide a platform and outreach for a powerful tier of established and emerging leaders to speak out on issues of urgent interest to the citizens in their cities.

Florida Local Government Information Systems Association

The Florida Local Government Information Systems Association (FLGISA) was founded in 1976 as the Florida Local Government Data Processing Association. The name was officially changed in 1995. The purpose of FLGISA is to foster the professionalism of its members and the sharing of ideas and experiences. FLGISA has held true to those original concepts, yet is consistently updating its forum to stay current with the needs of its members.

The Florida Municipal Association for Safety and Health is an association specifically designed for addressing all safety and health concerns of public service workers. FMASH is supported and staffed by the Florida League of Cities.

Florida Municipal Attorneys Association
Eric Hartwell, Esq., Executive Secretary
The Florida Municipal Attorneys' Association (FMAA) has more than 600 members who are Florida city attorneys, assistant city attorneys and other attorneys active in local government. The FMAA publishes a quarterly newsletter, sponsors an annual educational seminar, recognizes individuals contributing to local government law and performs other activities related to the development of municipal law in Florida.

Florida Redevelopment Association
Carol Westmoreland, Executive Director
The Florida Redevelopment Association (FRA) is dedicated to the revitalization and preservation of Florida's communities. The FRA's purpose is to promote the improvement of downtowns and other urban areas through redevelopment and development activities under the Florida Statutes; provide a forum for networking, training and technical assistance; be an advocate for its membership; monitor legal and legislative issues; and pursue new methods of assisting governmental entities, non-profits and educational organizations, private businesses and individuals. FRA currently has more than 300 public and business agencies as members.
