This year, the State of Florida is developing grant programs based on two significant grant opportunities.
State of Florida Local Cybersecurity Grant Program
- $40 million program
- Funded by the state of Florida
- Grant application period will open after December 2023
- Invoices must be paid by September 15, 2024
Federal State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program
- $11.9 million program.
- Funded by U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
- In partnership with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
- Florida’s administering agency is the Division of Emergency Management
- Grant application period will open after December 2023
- Two years of spending eligibility
