Florida Municipal Officials' Manual 
This manual is compiled by the Florida League of Cities as a reference on common topics of municipal government for use by elected and appointed municipal officials. Chapter 3: Standards of Conduct deals specifically with constitutional provisions, the code of ethics, the Commission on Ethics and other standards.

Government-in-the-Sunshine Manual
Published by the First Amendment Foundation, this annual reference, as well as pocket guide, white paper and other handbooks, addresses compliance with Florida’s Public Records and Open Meetings Laws.

Laws and Constitution of the State of Florida 
Florida’s current statutes and constitution, legislative proposals and live broadcasts may be viewed on the official website of the State of Florida Legislature.

Booklets, Guides and Research Centers 
George Mason University, in conjunction with the Virginia Municipal League and the Virginia Association of Counties, has published The Ethical GPS: Navigating Everyday Dilemmas (A Local Government Guide). In addition, several universities offer academic courses or conduct studies and surveys about public sector practices and concerns. Among them are Florida Atlantic University’s Public Ethics Academy and the Ethics & Compliance Initiative (ECI) in Arlington, Virginia.
