Wireless Deployment (5G) Resources

The League published a  memo, dated June 27, 2017, providing a summary of Enrolled CS/CS/HB 687 (the “Act”). The Florida League of Cities is beginning to receive various “implementation” questions on the Act. It is expected that a number of wireless service providers will begin filing permit applications soon after the Act’s effective date, July 1, 2017. The memo contains some considerations you may want to review as your city moves towards implementing the Act.

Implementation will likely be a moving target over the next several months. Below are ordinances shared with us by various cities. We welcome yours, too. Please contact Kraig Conn with questions or if your city takes action on this issue.
