Legislative Action Days

Legislative Action Days
Where city officials bring the power of local voices to the state capital with the message to let us make local choices.

Every year during session, city officials from across the state come together in Tallahassee for Legislative Action Days. This is a valuable opportunity for members to get to know their legislators and to view the legislature at work first-hand.

The League is excited to host Virtual Legislative Action Week on March 15-19! With concerns about COVID-19 making it impossible to hold our usual in-person Legislative Action Days, as well as visits to the state capitol, the Florida League of Cities has planned an active week of virtual events. These free events are designed to help you stay engaged with your legislators and colleagues during this important Legislative Session, while also recognizing the demands on your time. Register Now

Virtual Legislative Action Week includes a brief live event each day that will ensure you’re plugged in on the latest with the League’s legislative priorities. Scheduled events also include a welcome for newly elected officials, networking opportunities, and special appearances and comments from FLC President Tony Ortiz throughout the week. A tentative schedule of events is below.
