2017 CityStats Survey Now Underway - June 20 Deadline

The annual CityStats survey is the cornerstone of most research and analysis done at the Florida League of Cities. The 2017 survey is now being conducted online via survey links that were emailed to each city’s designated key official on Tuesday, April 11. The survey deadline is Tuesday, June 20. Please take the time to complete the survey as it provides information essential to League staff and serves as a valuable source of information on municipal government not available elsewhere. If the link was not received, please contact FLC Research Analyst Liane Schrader at

Resolutions for Consideration at Annual Conference Due July 12 

The League's Resolutions Committee will be meeting in conjunction with the FLC Annual Conference, August 17-19, 2017. Any municipality interested in submitting resolutions for consideration must submit them to the League no later than Wednesday, July 12, to guarantee that they will be included in the packet of proposed resolutions to the Resolutions Committee.

Resolutions are limited to federal, constitutional or commemorative issues that are of statewide concern and must directly pertain to municipal affairs. Contact Allison Payne to learn more.

Call for Nominations: Municipal Official Lifetime Achievement Award

If your city has an elected official who has performed in an outstanding manner and has made an unusual and lasting contribution to the improvement of municipal government and your city wishes to nominate him/her for this award, complete the nomination form and return it to the League by July 14.
