HB 769 (Bankson) revises the definition of “renewable energy source device” in Section 193.624 relating to the assessed value of real property attributable to a renewable energy source device, to include equipment that collects, transmits, stores or uses biogas. The equipment includes materials and machinery used in the production, storage, compression, transportation, processing and conversion of biogas from landfill waste, livestock farm waste, food waste or treated wastewater into renewable natural gas suitable for pipeline injection.
