Program Summary

As cities grapple with increasing populations, potable water demands, stormwater regulations and public scrutiny many are turning to green infrastructure and other alternative techniques to supplement traditional approaches. However, determining the right approach for your community requires examining existing infrastructure, natural resources, regulations, and other factors that impact an agency’s ability to provide clean/safe water.

This panel discussion brings together leaders at the forefront of the largest water issue facing Florida-quantity. Attendees will understand how aligning policies, public priorities and available resources can maximize water resources now and into the future. Expert panelists will share experiences and case studies of alignment in action, discuss overcoming barriers and recommend alternative techniques to maximize benefits across these interconnected systems by taking an integrated approach to managing water resources.
